Adult Sunday School:  Idolatry 101

What is the greatest impediment and hindrance to your spiritual growth—to your growing in your love for God and for people?  According to the Bible, it is idolatry.  We know this because idolatry is by far the most frequently discussed problem in the Bible.  The problem is most of us think idolatry simply refers to physical images of false gods.  But the real dangers we all face are the idols of our hearts:  the things that have taken our heart’s trust, preoccupation, loyalty, fear, and delight away from the one true God.

We have begun a new six-week discussion-oriented Adult Sunday School class that will help us understand what idolatry is, identify the idols in our lives that undermine our faith and joy in the Lord, and understand how to remove those idols from our lives. 

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
