“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
Therefore pray earnestly to the LORD of the harvest
to send out laborers into His harvest.” ~ Luke 10:2

Welcome!

God’s love for His people is amazing!  His care for us is full of grace and compassion.
May we all be refreshed by His loving grace and compassion toward us today as we worship Him.

"You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance." Psalm 68:9

Opening Worship

Call to Worship

Leader:   I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry.

People:   He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.

Leader:   He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.

Men:        Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!

Women:   You have multiplied, O LORD my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you!

All:          I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told.

Leader:   As for you, O LORD, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!

People:   For evils have encompassed me beyond number; my iniquities have overtaken me, and I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head; my heart fails me

Leader:   Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me! O LORD, make haste to help me!

Women:   May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, "Great is the LORD!"

Men:        As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me.

All:          You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God!

~ Psalm 40:1

Prayer of Invocation

Carry Your Love                 Words and music by Aaron Senseman

We are called out; we are ransomed; we are not of the world we're in

We are chosen; we are blessed, to bring light to the lives of men

So Father sow your seed, give us life in community

Wake us from our sleep, this is Your time; this is Your place

And we are vessels for breaking

Under Your grace, we are led by Your Spirit

You have redeemed us by the blood of Your Son

Send down Your Word; we are eager to hear it

Ready our hearts to carry Your love

You are sunlight; You are morning, You're the hope of a brand new day

You are comfort; You are blessing, and You wipe all our tears away

So change us from within, render miracles from our sin

Remind us once again, this is Your time; this is Your place

We are vessels for breaking

Hosanna                   Words and music by Paul Baloche and Brenton Brown

Praise is rising, eyes are turning to You

We turn to You

Hope is stirring, hearts are yearning for You

We long for You

'Cause when we see You we find strength to face the day

In Your presence all our fears are washed away

Washed away

Hosanna Hosanna

You are the God who saves us

Worthy of all our praises

Hosanna Hosanna

Come have your way among us

We welcome You here Lord Jesus

Hear the sound of hearts returning to You

We turn to You

In Your kingdom broken lives are made new

You make us new

'Cause when we see You we find strength to face the day

In Your presence all our fears are washed away

Washed away

Prayer of the Church

Amazing Grace                 st 1-3 by John Newton, st 6 author unknown

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
and grace my fears relieved;
how precious did that grace appear
the hour I first believed!

Thro’ many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
and grace will lead me home.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
bright shining as the sun,
we’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
than when we’ve first begun.

Closing Worship

Strong Tower        Words and music by Peter Furler and Steve Taylor

Strong and mighty, strong to save us, like a fortress never failing.

Strong in battle, strong in kindness, when we stray, Lord, You're strong to find us.

When the winds come hard against us, You are steadfast, You are true.
When the ground beneath us trembles, Your foundation never moves.

Strong Tower, High and Glorious, Strong Tower, Mighty in Love,
Our Refuge, Our Defender, Strong Tower, Lord above.

Strong to lead us through the shadows, strong to carry all our sorrows.

When the enemy surrounds us, closing in as darkness falls.
Though his armies rage against us, they can never scale these walls.

You are my shelter, my shield, You are the home I could never deserve.
Here I will serve, ever under Your gaze, here I will serve, ever singing Your praise.
